Avocado Apple Purée

A smooth and nutritious purée made with ripe avocado and apple, ideal for babies or as a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1/4 cup water or breast milk/formula (optional, for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and chop the apple into small pieces.
  2. Steam or boil the apple pieces for about 8-10 minutes until soft.
  3. Cut and scoop out the flesh of the avocado.
  4. Place the softened apple and avocado flesh in a blender or food processor.
  5. Blend until smooth, adding water or milk/formula to adjust the consistency if needed.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Notes

  • Use ripe avocado for the best texture and taste.
  • You can substitute apple with pear for a different flavor.
  • Freeze in small portions for future use.
