Soft, mini-sized pancakes perfect for babies and toddlers, made with simple, nutritious ingredients for a healthy start to the day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (or oat flour for a healthier option)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tsp olive oil or unsalted butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
  2. Add the egg, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon (if using). Mix well until combined.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and lightly grease with oil or butter.
  4. Spoon small amounts of batter into the pan to form mini pancakes.
  5. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook another 1-2 minutes until golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving to babies or toddlers.

Notes

  • Use oat flour for a gluten-free option.
  • Can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days or frozen for up to a month.
  • Ensure pancakes are fully cooled before serving to babies to avoid burns.
