- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 6 slices cheddar or mozzarella cheese, halved
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional: sliced pickles, coleslaw, or red onions for topping
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken mixture over the buns.
- Top the chicken with cheese slices.
- Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and onion powder. Brush the tops of the buns with the butter mixture.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes, until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm, optionally with pickles, coleslaw, or onions.
