BBQ Chicken Sliders

BBQ chicken sliders are mini sandwiches packed with flavorful shredded chicken, perfect for parties or quick dinners. This version skips the sauce, focusing on seasoned and roasted or grilled chicken for a clean yet savory bite.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices cheddar or mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss shredded chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking tray.
  4. Evenly distribute the seasoned chicken onto the bottom halves of the buns.
  5. Add cheese slices over the chicken if using.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with dried parsley.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • You can add sliced pickles or onions for extra flavor.
