Cardamom Rose Milk Tea

A fragrant and soothing milk tea infused with the warm spice of cardamom and the floral essence of rose, perfect for a relaxing afternoon or a cozy treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 black tea bags or 2 tsp loose black tea
  • 4 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 12 tbsp sugar or honey, to taste
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • Dried rose petals (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, milk, and crushed cardamom pods. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the black tea and simmer for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  3. Stir in the sugar or honey until dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat and add the rose water. Stir to combine.
  5. Strain the tea into cups to remove the tea leaves and cardamom pods.
  6. Garnish with dried rose petals if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of cardamom and rose water to your taste preference.
  • Can be served iced by cooling and pouring over ice cubes.
  • Use a non-dairy milk alternative to make it vegan.
