Cheeseburger Sliders

Cheeseburger sliders are mini burgers packed with classic cheeseburger flavor, perfect for parties, gatherings, or an easy family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup pickles (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. If using onions, sauté them in the same pan until soft and golden.
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally without separating them individually. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Spread the cooked beef evenly over the buns. Top with diced onions (if using), pickles, and slices of cheddar cheese.
  6. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the cheese.
  7. Place the top halves of the buns on top. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar with American, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese for variety.
  • Add lettuce or tomato after baking for a fresh crunch.
  • Use Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter twist.
