  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
  • Chicken thighs can be substituted for breasts if preferred.
