- 10 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup roasted almonds
- 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tbsp rose water
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Gold leaf or edible glitter (optional for decoration)
- Line a small baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, blend the pitted dates, almonds, rose water, and cardamom until it forms a sticky mixture.
- Form the mixture into small balls or press into a silicone mold, then place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- Dip the date-nut balls or mold pieces into the melted chocolate, coating thoroughly.
- Place the coated pieces on the prepared tray and sprinkle with chopped pistachios or decorate with gold leaf.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
