Dubai Chocolate Treats

Dubai Chocolate Treats are luxurious, rich, and indulgent confections inspired by Middle Eastern flavors, combining premium chocolate with dates, nuts, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 10 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp rose water
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Gold leaf or edible glitter (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the pitted dates, almonds, rose water, and cardamom until it forms a sticky mixture.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls or press into a silicone mold, then place in the freezer for 15 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  5. Dip the date-nut balls or mold pieces into the melted chocolate, coating thoroughly.
  6. Place the coated pieces on the prepared tray and sprinkle with chopped pistachios or decorate with gold leaf.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use high-quality dark chocolate for a richer taste.
  • You can substitute rose water with orange blossom water for a different flavor profile.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
