Earl Grey Lavender Latte

A soothing and aromatic Earl Grey Lavender Latte made with fragrant tea, floral lavender, and creamy milk, perfect for a relaxing treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 Earl Grey tea bag
  • 1/2 tsp dried culinary lavender
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 12 tsp honey or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the Earl Grey tea bag and lavender. Steep for 5 minutes, then strain out the solids.
  3. In another saucepan, heat the milk until steaming but not boiling.
  4. Optional: froth the milk using a frother or whisk vigorously for a foamy texture.
  5. Pour the steeped tea into a mug.
  6. Stir in honey or sweetener and vanilla extract if using.
  7. Top with steamed milk and foam.
  8. Garnish with a sprinkle of dried lavender if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use culinary-grade lavender to avoid bitterness.
  • Almond, oat, or soy milk can be used for a vegan version.
