Scale
  • 4 slices of thick bread (such as brioche or challah)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter (for cooking)

  • Powdered sugar for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated evenly.
  3. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the soaked bread slices in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove from skillet and place on a serving plate.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries and blueberries.
  7. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Feel free to use other berries or fruits based on season and preference.
  • For a dairy-free version, use plant-based milk and butter.
