Greek Yogurt Tzatziki Dip

A creamy and refreshing Greek yogurt tzatziki dip made with cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and fresh dill. Perfect as a dip, spread, or sauce for Mediterranean dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out the excess water using a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For a thicker dip, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
  • Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Pairs well with pita bread, grilled meats, or fresh vegetables.
