- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon (sliced)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
- Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place lemon slices on the grill and set salmon fillets on top of them, skin side down.
- Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- While salmon is grilling, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.
- Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the grilled salmon before serving.
