Grilled Salmon with Lemon Butter

A simple yet flavorful grilled salmon recipe, enhanced with a zesty lemon butter sauce, perfect for a healthy and satisfying meal.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates.
  2. Brush salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place lemon slices on the grill and set salmon fillets on top of them, skin side down.
  4. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While salmon is grilling, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  7. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.
  8. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the grilled salmon before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use fresh wild-caught salmon.
  • You can grill the salmon directly on the grates if preferred.
  • Lemon butter sauce can be made ahead and reheated gently.
