Hot Dog Bites

Hot dog bites are a quick and fun appetizer made by wrapping small pieces of hot dogs in dough and baking them until golden. Perfect for parties, game day snacks, or kids’ lunches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller strips.
  3. Cut each hot dog into 3 equal pieces.
  4. Wrap each piece of hot dog with a strip of dough, placing the seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Optional: Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, and brush the tops of the wrapped hot dogs.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • You can use puff pastry or biscuit dough as an alternative to crescent rolls.
  • Add a small slice of cheese with the hot dog for a cheesy version.
  • Serve with mustard, ketchup, or ranch for dipping.
