Iced Chai Latte

A refreshing and creamy spiced tea drink made with black tea, chai spices, milk, and ice. Perfect for a cooling caffeine fix.

Ingredients

  • 2 chai tea bags or 2 tbsp loose leaf chai
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 tsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and steep the chai tea bags or loose leaf chai for 5–10 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  2. Remove the tea bags or strain the tea leaves.
  3. Stir in honey or sweetener while the tea is still warm and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the cooled chai tea over the ice.
  6. Add the milk and stir to combine.
  7. Garnish with a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a stronger flavor, use more tea or steep longer.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Use non-dairy milk like oat or almond for a vegan version.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
