Lemon Dill Grilled Salmon

A flavorful and healthy grilled salmon dish infused with fresh lemon and dill, perfect for summer meals or light dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on a plate or tray.
  4. Brush the lemon-dill mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Place salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 2-4 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  7. Garnish with lemon slices if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can marinate the salmon in the lemon-dill mixture for 15-30 minutes before grilling for more flavor.
  • Use a grill pan if cooking indoors.
  • Pairs well with grilled vegetables or a light salad.
