- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on a plate or tray.
- Brush the lemon-dill mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
- Place salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for another 2-4 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with lemon slices if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- You can marinate the salmon in the lemon-dill mixture for 15-30 minutes before grilling for more flavor.
- Use a grill pan if cooking indoors.
- Pairs well with grilled vegetables or a light salad.
