- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 12 slider buns
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan (for topping)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Roll mixture into 12 equal-sized meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, warm marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Once cooked, add meatballs to the marinara and coat evenly.
- Slice slider buns and place bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
- Place a meatball on each bun, spoon extra sauce over, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Place top buns on and brush with melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning and Parmesan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- Use store-bought or homemade marinara sauce.
- These sliders can be prepped ahead and baked before serving.
