Mini Pita Pizza Snacks

Mini pita pizza snacks are quick and customizable bite-sized pizzas made using pita bread as the base. Perfect for parties, after-school snacks, or light meals.

  • 4 mini pita breads
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or cooked chicken (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the mini pita breads on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each pita.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add your choice of toppings such as olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, or pepperoni.
  6. Sprinkle with oregano and drizzle lightly with olive oil if desired.
  7. Bake in the oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat pita for a healthier option.
  • Can be made vegetarian by skipping meat toppings.
  • Try different sauces such as pesto or barbecue for variety.
  • Great for kids to help assemble with their favorite toppings.
