Mummy Hot Dogs

Mummy Hot Dogs are a fun and spooky Halloween treat made by wrapping hot dogs in crescent roll dough to look like little mummies. Perfect for parties or a themed dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 slices of cheese (optional)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper
  • Mustard or ketchup for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut into thin strips (about 1/4 inch wide).
  3. If using cheese, cut each slice into 4 strips and place one strip on each hot dog.
  4. Wrap the dough strips around each hot dog, overlapping to create a mummy look and leaving a gap for the face.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then use mustard or ketchup to dot eyes onto the mummies.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can use mini hot dogs for bite-sized mummies.
  • To make it spookier, serve with a ‘bloody’ ketchup dip.
  • Kids can help wrap the dough for a fun activity.
