Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts are a crispy, savory side dish featuring tender Brussels sprouts roasted to perfection with garlic, olive oil, and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

  • 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts cut side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while hot.
  6. Return to the oven for 3-5 more minutes to melt and crisp the cheese.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
  8. Serve warm.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
  • To make them extra crispy, avoid overcrowding the baking sheet.
  • You can add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
