Pizza pinwheels are a fun and delicious twist on traditional pizza, made by rolling pizza dough with sauce, cheese, and toppings, then slicing into spirals and baking to golden perfection.

  • 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni evenly over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log.
  7. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
