Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for finishing)

Instructions

  3. Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread everything out in a single layer, cut side down for the sprouts.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until sprouts are golden and bacon is crispy.
  6. Optionally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving.

Notes

  • Choose fresh, firm Brussels sprouts for best results.
  • Adjust the amount of bacon to taste or use turkey bacon for a lighter version.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or skillet.
