Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu Cups

Strawberry Matcha Tiramisu Cups are a refreshing twist on the classic Italian dessert, layering matcha-soaked ladyfingers with mascarpone cream and fresh strawberries in individual cups.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp matcha powder
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1216 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • Extra matcha powder for dusting
  • Optional: mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together hot water and 1 tablespoon of matcha powder until fully dissolved. Let cool.
  2. In another bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Add mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract to the whipped cream and mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the matcha mixture and place them at the bottom of individual cups.
  5. Layer with a spoonful of the mascarpone cream mixture, followed by sliced strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, ending with a layer of cream.
  7. Dust the tops with matcha powder and optionally garnish with mint leaves.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Do not soak the ladyfingers too long or they’ll become mushy.
  • Best served chilled and consumed within 2 days.
  • You can substitute strawberries with raspberries for a different flavor.
